Awka, Oct. 26, 2017 -- Out-going National Youth Service Corps members in the Ministry of Power and Domestic Water Development have been urged to always work hard, so as to succeed in life.
The Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Mr Douglas Mba gave the charge during a send-forth party organised for them.
Mr Mba noted that their one year compulsory service to the nation which, had just ended would have helped to prepare them on how to face the future with positive mind.
The permanent secretary reminded them that at their level, they did not have to totally depend on their family, stressing that they were engaged in ventures that would made them self-reliant.
He, however, commended them for putting in their best during their service year in the ministry while wishing them the best in their future endeavours.
In his vote of thanks, Mr Usip Ekanem, who spoke on behalf of the others thanked the permanent secretary and the staff of the ministry for the love they shown to them during their service.
Ekanem pledged that advice given to them by the permanent secretary would help to guide them in their future engagements.
The ministry presented cash gifts to the corpse members, who in turn donated a wall clock to the ministry.
