Obiano, a most outstanding governor in Nigeria says Igwe Frederick Okoli

Ndi okpalaeze (Orumba North LGA), Sept. 28, 2020 (MOI) Traditional Ruler of Ndi okpalaeze, Orumba North Local Government Area (LGA), Igwe Frederick Okoli has described Gov. Willie Obiano as a pragmatic, visionary and most outstanding governor in Nigeria.
``Gov. Obiano is a pragmatic leader and the most outstanding governor we have in Nigeria today; his achievements attest to that,’’ Igwe Okoli said this at his palace as the community marked the 2020 New Yam Festival.
``The State Government has achieved great strides in security, which has brought peace and progress to the land.
``Ndi Anambra no longer live in fear of kidnappers and armed robbers as was the case before the inception of the Obiano administration.
``There is improved standard of living of people in the state as more people are being employed because of the investment inflow through the 'Aku Luo Uno' campaigns.
``Ndi Anambra now appreciate the need to establish their companies and businesses here at home in Anambra because he has additionally ensured that a business-friendly environment has been provided by the Government.
``Through the N20 million Community Choose Your Project Initiative of the government, my community built a befitting Multipurpose Civic Centre,’’ the royal father said.
Igwe Okoli also expressed gratitude to the government for the gift of 151 Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) to traditional rulers in the state.
He commended the government for maintaining cordial relationships with traditional rulers and other arms of government.
Igwe Okoli while thanking God for bountiful harvests this year prayed for continued peace, progress and development in the community.
Chairman, Fruitful Friends Organisation, Mr Emeka Okenu described the Igwe as a generous man.
He unveiled plans by the organisation to adopt the traditional ruler as their royal father.
``We have benefited immensely from his magnanimity, wisdom and benevolence,’’ Mr Okenu said.
Mr Okenu congratulated the people of the community for living to see this year’s harvest and implored them to live in peace with one another so as to attract more of God’s blessings to the land. (MOI)
